Sometimes my son (he is one year and 8 months old now) wakes at the middle of the night and starts play. He talks to me and my husband laugh and jump on the bed. And no words can make him sleep. In the past that can make me very sad and I do all in my power to put the boy in the bed. But now I realized that it is all senseless.
So I just try to wait why my baby wants to sleep again. Also I calm my husband too:). Usually it takes about 30 minutes to return happy and calm night to our bedroom. So I can tell you that it not worth to shout at your baby and be nervous, In such case you definitely can not calm your baby.
What you need is to be calm, relaxed and kind with the little man.
By the way, you also need to ask yourself why your baby wakes up at night?
Probable he slept too much during yesterday or you played too noise games before sleeping. All those things are very important for your baby.
There are several tips how to calm your baby before sleeping.
- Go for a walk in the evening but not less than one hour before sleeping.
- Try to play quiet games before going to bed
- Wash your baby in a warm bath
- Make a relax massage to your baby
- Thing a song
- Breastfeed your baby
Every mom find her own ways to deal with her baby. I wish you find your ways to be really happy mom.

At least he’s not bawling the whole night long. I wish my son would just keep me up with his chatting and playing rather than his shrieking and bawling that wakes everyone up, even the neighbors!

Looking after your hearing has to be one of the most significant things you can do. Take it from me, somebody who sufferred hearing damager early on. As a result, I actually like taking care hearing and whilst I do agree with the above-named poster and I really hope I do not get shot down for stating this, but I guess it is important to take all things in moderation.
